PATIENT DINING ASSOCIATE (DIETARY AIDE) (FULL TIME)

About the role

Morrison Healthcare is hiring immediate full-time Patient Dining Associate (Dietary Aide) positions at MUSC Health Florence. The position offers a competitive pay range of $14.00 to $15.00 per hour.

Responsibilities

• Help patients understand their menu selections and ensure compliance with nutritional requirements or restrictions.
• Work with the culinary team to determine menu alternatives for patients with food allergies, sensitivities, cultural, ethnic, or religious preferences.
• Manage tray tickets and assemble meals accurately and promptly.
• Retrieve trays from patient rooms at assigned times.
• Comply with regulatory standards, including federal, state, and JCAHO guidelines.
• Follow HACCP guidelines for food handling, cleaning, and tray line breakdown.
• Communicate problems or concerns to appropriate personnel and follow department procedures.
• Complete daily, weekly, or monthly reports as required.
• Adhere to facility policies regarding confidentiality, patient rights, and infection control.
• Assist dietitians in managing patients who cannot eat through their mouth or have specific dietary needs.

Qualifications

• Ability to read, write, and interpret documents in English.
• Basic computer and mathematical skills.
• Able to lift and move up to 100 pounds occasionally.

Pay

$14.00 to $15.00 per hour

Schedule

Full time schedule: 6:30 am to 7:30 pm, with rotating weekends included. Details upon interview.
