Patient Coordinator - Traveler/Floater

About the role

Bennett & Bloom Eye Centers is seeking a Patient Coordinator to join their team. This position regularly travels between all locations in Louisville, KY (South End Bluegrass Avenue, East End Dupont Circle, East End Leesgate Road and Crestwood) and Jeffersonville, IN. Occasionally, travel to Elizabethtown, Florence, and Glasgow, KY may be required.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate patient flow
• Verify medical and vision insurances
• Effectively communicate with patients, doctors, and managers
• Answer inquiries through phone, email, and in person
• Practice urgency with patients' time, doctor's time, and schedule
• Manage patient flow in the office
• Knowledge of common fees charged for common visits and collect correct payments
• Complete daily reconciliations / close day / countdown cash drawer
• Perform general office duties and cleaning as assigned

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED equivalent
• Favorable result on Background Check
• Basic computer skills
• Strong customer service skills
• Excitement to learn and grow

• Commitment to work over 40 hours to meet the needs of the business
• Reliable transportation that would allow employee to go to multiple work locations with minimal notice

Full time. Our offices are open Monday-Friday 7:30am-5:30pm. You may need to work a little earlier and/or later as needed.
