Patient Coordinator (part-time)

About the role

This is a part-time position working Monday to Friday 3:00pm-7:00pm at our Red Bank, NJ clinic. As the clinic grows, this can potentially turn into a full-time position in the future.

Responsibilities

• Assist patients and visitors by answering or referring inquiries, optimizing patient satisfaction, provider time, and treatment room utilization through scheduling appointments in person or by telephone.
• Complete insurance verifications and ensure availability of treatment information by filing and retrieving patient records.
• Maintain patient appointments on schedule by notifying providers of patient arrivals; reviewing service delivery compared to schedule; and reminding providers of service delays.
• Manage patient accounts by obtaining, recording, and updating personal and financial information, including recording and updating financial information, recording and collecting patient charges, controlling credit extended to patients, filing, collecting, and expediting third-party claims.
• Protect patients' rights by maintaining confidentiality of personal and financial information.
• Maintain operations by following policies and procedures and reporting needed changes.
• Contribute to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.

Pay

Pay Range $ 20.00 - $ 24.00 per hour
