Qualifications we are looking for
- Must possess native or bilingual proficiency in both Spanish and English.
- Reception background.
- Dental or orthodontic experience a plus.
- We are willing to train the right person even without experience!
Job Description and Duties Include But Not Limited To
- Greet all patients upon their arrival and ensure their needs are exceeded.
- Monitor the arrival of patients.
- Schedule all appointments.
- Stabilize the production by scheduling the Ideal Day.
- Facilitate the production and scheduling portion of the morning meeting by identifying open time in the schedule for various appointment types.
- Update addresses, telephone numbers and insurance information as the patients arrive.
- Oversee the schedule during the day to ensure that it runs smoothly.
- Adjust the schedule as necessary.
- Complete a telephone slip for each new patient and forward documents to them.
- Monitor and track new patient phone calls and document referral sources and pertinent information.
- Oversee and train all appropriate staff members on the scheduling program/software.
- Perform other tasks as assigned by the office manager and doctor.
Candidate will frequently translate complex industry jargon and communicate at a professional level in both languages.

Requirements, Qualifications & Experience
- A high school diploma or equivalent required; some college coursework or healthcare-related education preferred.
- Previous experience in dental or healthcare scheduling preferred.
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
- Excellent communication and patient service skills.
- Familiarity with dental practice management software (e.g., Dentrix, Eaglesoft) is a plus.
