About the role
The Patient Coordinator plays a vital role in ensuring smooth scheduling, preparation, and follow-up for patient appointments. This position supports patients throughout their care experience, coordinates communication between providers and patients, and ensures all clinical and administrative needs are met.
Responsibilities
- Schedule all patient appointments, ensuring accuracy in time allocation, provider availability, and operatory needs.
- Confirm appointments are appropriately spaced and aligned with provider and operatory availability.

- Contact patients to confirm appointments and provide preparation and follow-up instructions.

- Address patient questions and concerns in a professional and compassionate manner.

- Maintain the appointment calendar and alert the Office Manager or clinical team of any conflicts or changes.
- Monitor and reorder supplies as needed to support daily operations.

- Support administrative projects and provide coverage during absences or high-volume periods.

- Perform other duties and responsibilities assigned by management.
Requirements
- A high school diploma or equivalent is required; some college coursework or healthcare-related education is preferred.
- Previous experience in dental or healthcare scheduling is preferred.
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills are essential.
- Excellent communication and patient service skills are required.
- Familiarity with dental practice management software (e.g., Dentrix, Eaglesoft) is a plus.

Pay
$17-$20 hourly
