Patient Coordinator
Position Summary
Our Patient Coordinators are the backbone of our clinics and have a direct impact on patient experience. They work collaboratively with clinicians and colleagues to provide exceptional patient care and world-class customer service.
Responsibilities
- Greeting and checking-in patients
- Scheduling appointments
- Answering incoming phone calls
- Verifying insurance coverage
- OBTAINING NECESSARY AUTHORIZATION
- COLLECTING PAYMENTS
- PROCESSING NEW PATIENTS
- Helping the clinic maintain optimal performance
Qualifications
- 2+ years of administrative experience in a healthcare setting is preferred.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications such as Excel, Word, and Outlook.
- Great time management and ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
- Self-motivated with a drive to exceed patient expectations.
- Adept at adapting to fluctuating workloads and maintaining a positive attitude.
- Self-motivated with the eagerness to learn and grow.
- Dedicated to exceptional patient outcomes and quality of care.
