About the role
This position is Full Time and will work 12-hour, Night shifts.
Responsibilities
- Provides nursing staff with clerical support to facilitate patient care.
- Provides basic nursing care for in-patients and out-patients as needed, within their specified area.
- Collections and reports information to the supervising RN and completes all patient care related documentation.
Requirements
- Coursework/Training: Completion of a CNA program, or Completion of first semester nursing program, or EMT program completion.
- Upon hire: California Nursing Assistant Certification License or California Emergency Medical Technician License.
- Upon hire: National Provider BLS - American Heart Association.
- Experience with basic data entry.
Qualifications
- Preferred Qualifications: Satisfactory completion of a medical terminology course or knowledge of medical terminology. 1 year of acute patient care experience, or 6 months experience in a direct patient care environment providing clerical or patient support related to Provider, patient documentation or charting.
