Patient Care Technician | PreOp/PACU | PRN

Job Duties

• Assists with direct patient care
• Patient flow through departments
• Answers phones
• Troubleshoots for nurses
• Chart building
• Performs specialized medical procedures of a routine nature as needed

Requirements

• High school student or graduate or equivalent
• Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA), preferred
• One year of experience is preferred
• AHA BLS certification, required
• Ability to communicate clearly and respectfully
• Possess the ability to follow established cleaning methods in performing daily tasks
• Knowledge of patient evaluation procedures
• Must be able to keep all equipment in good working condition and ability to maintain quality, safety, and/or infection control standards
