Patient Care Technician - Pre-Admit 1.0 FTE Day
About the role
This is a Full-Time (1.0 FTE), Day Shift position, Monday through Friday 8AM-5PM. Works closely with all members of the team to provide direct patient care to optimize positive patient care outcomes. Works independently and assists the registered nurse/nurse practitioner during clinic visits by providing the appropriate procedures.
Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care to optimize positive patient care outcomes.
- Assist the registered nurse/nurse practitioner during clinic visits by performing appropriate procedures.
- Perform basic data entry related to provider or patient documentation or charting.
- Utilize phlebotomy skills proficiently.
Requirements
- For hires after 07/26/2023, completion of one of the following:
- Medical Assistant (MA) program (certification not required after hire),
- First semester of a nursing program,
- EMT program completion (certification not required after hire),
- Equivalent education or experience.
- 1 year of acute patient care experience, or 6 months experience in a direct patient care environment providing clerical support related to provider or patient documentation/charting.
- National Provider BLS certification from the American Heart Association (upon hire).
- 6 months of phlebotomy experience (proficient skills required).
- Experience with basic data entry.
Preferred Qualifications
- EKG training.

Pay
The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $29.08 per hour. These amounts are the base pay range; additional compensation may be available for this role, such as shift differentials, standby/on-call, overtime, premiums, extra shift incentives, or bonus opportunities.

Full-time (1.0 FTE), Day Shift, Monday through Friday, 8AM-5PM.
