Job Description
Patient Care Technicians (PCTs) assist in the maintenance of a safe and clean working environment, perform vascular access cannulation, obtain vital signs, and monitor patients' responses to dialysis therapy. They also educate patients on dialysis-related topics and ensure the proper functioning of dialysis machines.
Success Profile
The ideal candidate possesses a combination of technical skills and genuine passion for patient care. Prior customer service, healthcare, and direct patient care experience are beneficial, though prior dialysis experience is not required. The role emphasizes building strong relationships with patients and their families.
