Patient Care Technician - PCT - Ortho/Neuro - PT Rotating

Job Summary

The Patient Care Technician (PCT) serves as caregiver to the patient during the scheduled work period. The PCT provides patient-centered nursing care and daily living assistance to assigned patients under the supervision of a Registered Nurse (RN) or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN).

Qualifications

• High school graduate or general equivalency diploma (GED) preferred, but not required.
• Knowledge of healthcare, anatomy, physiology, medical terminology, and medical equipment/supplies preferred.
• Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) preferred.
• Obtains and subsequently maintains required department specific competencies and certifications.

Pay

• Salary Range: $18.00 - $24.00
• Pay Info: Sign on bonus available for eligible applicants

Schedule

• Shifts are 7:00am - 7:30pm or 7:00pm - 7:30am
• Three 12 hour shifts per pay period
• Every other weekend and holiday commitment

Department Details

• Strong communication, customer service, multi-tasking, and organizational skills are needed on a daily basis.
• When necessary for safe provision of care, employee will provide one on one care to patients.
