Patient Care Technician (PCT) - FT Days | Texarkana LTACH

About the role

The Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) or Patient Care Tech (PCT) performs various patient care activities and accommodative services under the general supervision of a Registered or Licensed Vocational/Practical Nurse. Responsibilities are carried out within the limits of the position, without administering medications or therapy, or assuming independent responsibility for patient care. Duties are performed in accordance with PAM Health's policies, procedures, and guidelines. Additional related duties may be assigned.

Requirements

• High school graduate or equivalent preferred
• Certification as a nursing assistant (CNA) where required by state (preferred)
• May be a Patient Care Tech working in the state of Texas
• Current BLS certification is required

Experience

• No prior experience required
• Minimum of two (2) to three (3) years of experience in an acute hospital, rehabilitation hospital, or skilled nursing unit is preferred
