Job Summary
Join Overland Park Regional Medical Center, part of HCA Healthcare, as a Patient Care Technician (PCT) in Orthopedics and Spine. This role requires a minimum of a high school diploma or GED and 1+ years of acute care experience. Essential qualifications include a Kansas Certified Nursing Assistant license and BCLS certification.
Qualifications
- A minimum of a High school diploma or GED required.
- 1+ years of experience in an acute care setting, Preferred.
- Kansas Certified Nursing Assistant License required or completion of the HCA Patient Care Tech Essentials training.
- BCLS certification required upon hire.
- Must attend the PCT Essentials training (M-F 8a – 5pm first 2 weeks of employment).
Responsibilities
- Assist with patient preparation, mobility, transfers, and comfort.
- Provide non-medicated care such as dressing changes, skin protection, and use of supportive devices.
- Keep patient areas and common spaces clean, organized, and stocked.
- Manage supplies, equipment, and logs for infection control and team readiness.
- Communicate kindly with patients, families, and the care team.

Pay and Schedule
Full-time Schedule: 6:45p - 7:15a; 3 12-hr shifts.
