About the Role
Performs nursing skills encompassing patient care and related tasks under the direction of a Registered Professional Nurse or a Licensed Practical Nurse. Provides a safe, quiet, comfortable environment for patients, visitors, and employees. Demonstrates accountability for job responsibility and functions. Provides direct quality care and service to patients of all ages under the direction of the Unit Manager or designee.
Qualifications
- High School Graduate
- BLS credentialing
- Recent experience as a nurse aide, phlebotomist, or EKG technician preferred
Working Conditions
- Significant manual skills, motor coordination, and finger dexterity
- Significant occupational risk
- Very heavy physical effort; may exert up to 50 lbs. of force
- Significant exposure to dirt, odors, noise, human waste, etc.
Pay
$21.71 hourly
