Patient Care Technician Medical Surgical Unit - Full Time Night

Job Overview

In this role, you will work under the direction of the RN to provide care to the patients on the unit. Some of the responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Taking vital signs
• Performing EKGs
• Performing phlebotomy
• Assisting or providing patients with bedside care, i.e. bathing, mouth care, skin care.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• BLS required through American Heart Association
• Prior experience in patient care preferred
• Ability to communicate and collaborate with others effectively
• Effective verbal and written communication skills

Pay

The pay range for this position if hired to work in New Jersey is $21.04 - $26.19 per hour.

Schedule

Full Time Night
40 hours a week, Every other weekend and rotating holidays required.
