Patient Care Technician - Infusion Center - Spencer Hospital

Responsibilities

• Aid patients and nursing staff in the Infusion Center.
• Assist with Telehealth appointments as needed.
• Participate in the delivery of patient care services.
• Coordinate unit communications and manage patient information.
• Perform tasks as directed by unit personnel.
• Promote a calm and professional atmosphere for visitors and health team members.
• Maintain a clean and organized patient environment.
• Provide transport.
• Assess and meet the physical needs of the patient.

Requirements

• Caring communicator.
• Flexible and able to multitask.
• Comfortable with technological systems.
• CNA certification (other healthcare certifications may be considered).
• BLS required or willing to obtain upon hire (inhouse education available).

Schedule

• 72 hours per pay period.
• Typically 8a-4:30p, Monday through Friday.
• Hours may be required on weekends and holidays as needed.
• Schedule may fluctuate based on department needs.
