Patient Care Technician -ICU - Full Time Nights

Patient Care Technician - ICU - Full Time - Night Shift. Located in New York, NY. Make a lasting impression on patients in urgent need. Care for patients while you draw blood and take vital signs—where expertise and customer service make all the difference.

Responsibilities

• Accurately measure and record patient vital signs including body temperature, pulse, respiration, and blood pressure.
• Report abnormal findings and put patients at ease.
• Serve as the eyes and ears of the award‑winning nursing team.
• Collaborate with nurses to support patient care and uphold the “Put Patients First” philosophy.
• Draw blood and perform other basic patient care tasks as needed.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• Previous direct patient care experience or applicable certification (Patient Care Tech/Nursing Attendant/Medical Assistant).
• Current CPR Training from the American Heart Association.
• Ability to work on‑site; must live within a commutable distance to NewYork‑Presbyterian (NYP).

Pay

Salary range: $29.69–$31.81 per hour.

Schedule

Full‑time night shift position with rotating weekends and holidays. Typical schedule: 5 days per work week, 7.5‑hour shifts.
