Patient Care Technician I, 3 Tower, Full Time Shift Day Shift, To include every other weekend

Job Qualifications

• High School graduate or equivalent.
• Licenses and Certifications:
  • S.C Nurse Aide Certification
  • Passed fundamentals in RN/LPN school
  • Completed Surg Tech or EMT course
  • Completed 2-year Health Science Technology Program
  • Completed Patient Care Tech course
  • Successfully completed the SRH PCT program
  • Graduate of an accredited nursing assistant program, certification eligible
• Must achieve certification within 3 months of hire.
• BLS certified.

Functions

• Performs specific assigned duties in providing patient care for the surgical patient in accordance with established SRH and Nursing Services Policies and Standard Work.
• Functions in a supportive role to communicate patient care needs and resolve work-related issues.
