About the role
This role provides direct patient care in a high-risk Cardiology unit, supporting licensed nurses to ensure a safe and healing environment.
Responsibilities
- Administer Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), vital signs, intake & output, and preventive measures such as fall and pressure ulcer prevention
- Collect clinical data and report patient condition changes
- Assist with patient and family education
- Document care activities accurately
- Act as a 1:1 safety sitter when needed
- Ensure availability of supplies
- Participate in safety, quality, and regulatory activities
Requirements
High school diploma or GED. Preferred experience as a CNA, PCT, Nurse Assistant, EMT, or Surgical Tech.
