About the Role
This position involves providing direct patient care in a hospital setting within the Float Pool.
Responsibilities
- Obtain and record vital signs
- Monitor fluid intake and output
- Perform blood draws following safety protocols
- Assist patients with activities of daily living to ensure comfort and mobility
- Support clinical decision-making and patient rounding
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent, or at least one year of relevant experience
- Current BLS certification from an approved provider (required within 30 days of hire)
- Nurse Aide certification preferred
- Prior direct care experience in a hospital is highly desirable
