Patient Care Technician - Dialysis

About the Role

Supports patients with end-stage renal disease by assisting with dialysis treatments, ensuring safety, and maintaining high-quality care under RN supervision.

Responsibilities

• Participate in infection control, patient education, and risk management activities
• Obtain and record vital signs
• Set up and break down dialysis systems
• Insert and remove access needles
• Monitor and document patient status
• Calculate dry weight
• Organize workload
• Maintain patient privacy
• Track inventory
• Perform laboratory work

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED
• CCHT certification
• Minimum 6 months dialysis experience
• Healthcare experience
