Patient Care Technician-DeKalb-Med Surg

Education:

• Must have a High School Diploma or GED.
• If candidate is at least 17 years old but does not yet have a current high school diploma/GED, must be actively working towards obtaining one within 2 years of hire.

Licensure/Certification:

• Must obtain CPR certification within 60 days of hire.
• CNA/EMT/Paramedic certification preferred.

Experience:

• Minimum of 1 year experience working in the patient care setting preferred, but not required.

Other Requirements:

• If assigned to the Parkview Randallia Family Birthing Center, PCTs must be bonded as a notary public within 6 months of hire for those 18 years and older.
