Patient Care Technician CCHT
About the role
This role supports patients undergoing Peritoneal Dialysis (PD) in an outpatient setting. Key responsibilities include assisting with training patients and caregivers on PD procedures, supporting clinical team with patient monitoring, documentation, and equipment prep, conducting home supply inventory, and collaborating with nurses, dietitians, and social workers.
Responsibilities
- Aid in training patients and caregivers on PD procedures
- Support clinical team with patient monitoring, documentation, and equipment prep
- Conduct home supply inventory and assist with arranging deliveries
- Maintain equipment and ensure compliance with safety protocols
- Collaborate with nurses, dietitians, and social workers
- Perform administrative assistant tasks as necessary (scheduling, etc.)
Requirements
- Dialysis Experience and CCHT Certification are Required
- Accredited High School diploma, GED credential, or equivalent
- Valid driver’s license, reliable transportation, and insurance
- Comfortable working with medical supplies, blood, and needles
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends/holidays
- Physical stamina for long shifts and on-your-feet work
- Healthcare experience (CNA, MA, CHT, phlebotomy) preferred

- Compensation for the role will depend on a number of factors, including a candidate’s qualifications, skills, competencies and experience.
- The Wage Range for the role is $24.00 - $37.00/hour.
