Responsibilities
- Monitor patients before, during, and after dialysis treatment
- Measure and record vital statistics
- Initiate cannulation
- Perform patient observations
- Set up hemodialysis machine
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent required
- Desire to care for people and comfort working around blood and needles
- Current certification from BONENT, NNCC, NNCO, or other state‑approved certification (for experienced PCTs)
- Current BLS/CPR certification (for experienced PCTs)
Skills
- Technical skills related to dialysis patient care
