DaVita is hiring a Patient Care Technician (PCT) to support patients with end-stage renal disease in an outpatient dialysis clinic in Tacoma, WA.
About the role
As a PCT, you’ll provide direct, hands-on care under RN supervision, helping patients through life-sustaining dialysis treatment.
Responsibilities
- Deliver safe, hygienic, and compassionate dialysis care
- Monitor patients before, during, and after treatment
- Set up and maintain dialysis equipment
- Record vital signs and patient data
- Educate patients on treatment and kidney health
- Collaborate with nurses, dietitians, social workers, and other care team members
Requirements
- Accredited High School diploma, general education development (“GED”) credential, or equivalent
- Comfortable around blood, needles, and medical equipment
- Physically able to work long shifts on your feet
- Willing to float between local clinics if needed
- Flexible schedule including mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays
Preferred: CNA, MA, CHT, phlebotomy certification, or healthcare experience

Pay
Wage range: $20.50 - $32.00/hour
Patient Care Technician ICHD Experienced: $23.00 - $30.25/hour
Washington Non-exempt rates:
- Bellingham: $19.13/hour
- Burien: $21.71/hour
- Everett: $20.77/hour
- Unincorporated King County: $20.82/hour
- Renton: $21.57/hour
- Seattle: $21.30/hour
- Tukwila: $21.65/hour
- Remainder of Washington state: $17.13/hour
Washington Exempt: $80,168.40/year
Compensation depends on qualifications, skills, competencies, and experience.
