Patient Care Technician

Role Overview Provides patient care under the supervision of a Registered Nurse in a healthcare setting. Performs tasks such as vital signs, EKGs, ultrasounds, blood glucose checks, specimen collection, and assisting with bathing, feeding, and mobility. Supports patient admissions, discharges, and implements personalized care plans. Ensures a safe, comfortable environment while maintaining high-quality patient experiences. Maintains hourly rounds, assists with safety protocols, and offers emotional support. Qualifications & Skills Current CPR/BLS certification from the American Heart Association or Red Cross.Completion of CNA training or relevant clinical experience preferred.At least one year of experience in a medical office or healthcare setting.Basic computer skills for charting and documentation.Strong interpersonal, prioritization, collaboration, and following instructions. Additional Details Locations include various areas in Illinois, including Chicago and surrounding suburbs.Overnight, weekend, and holiday shift differentials available.Full-time and part-time schedules (16 & 24 hours).
