Patient Care Tech - Progressive Care/Step Down Unit, PRN, Days

Responsibilities

• Under the supervision of licensed clinical staff, provides care to patients from birth through the lifecycle
• Demonstrates competency with treatments, procedures and equipment appropriate to the clinical setting and hospital policy

Qualifications

Education: H.S. Diploma or General Education Degree (GED) preferred

Work Experience: No experience required; 1 year of patient care experience preferred

Licenses and Certifications:

• BCLS - Basic Life Support: Upon Hire required
• CNA - Certified Nursing Assistant: Preferred
• Certification from a Patient Care Technician program: Preferred
