Patient Care Tech PRN
We are seeking a Patient Care Technician for our ambulatory surgery center at Greenview Surgery Center, part of HCA Healthcare, the nation's leading provider of healthcare services.
About the role
You will provide safe and effective patient care by transporting patients safely and efficiently while maintaining cleanliness. You will assist with operating room turnover, sterile processing, inventory, and supply maintenance. Responsibilities
- Facilitate the transfer, positioning, and transport of patients
- Assist in overturning operating rooms between cases
- Perform terminal cleaning of surgical areas
- Maintain sufficient supply levels, cleanliness, and orderliness of all equipment and supplies
- Answer phones
- Assist with computer data entry
Requirements
- One year of patient care assistance in a nursing or environmental services environment
- Valid BCLS Certification upon employment (online certification not acceptable)

About the facility
Greenview Surgery Center is located in Bowling Green, Kentucky, serving residents of Warren County and surrounding areas of southern Kentucky. Opened in the fall of 2019, it is the first Surgery Ventures center in Kentucky, powered by HCA Healthcare. The center is AAAHC certified and performs over 275 cases a month, offering services in ENT, endoscopy, gastroenterology, gynecology, neurosurgery, ophthalmology, orthopedics, plastics, and urology.
