Patient Care Tech (PCT) - Med Surg
About the role
Provide individualized, culture-specific patient care by attending to the personal needs and comfort of patients, under the supervision of a Registered Nurse. Assists the professional or licensed nurse as delegated in tasks requiring less technical skills. Participates in shift and bedside report. Participates and supports regional, facility, department, and unit initiatives. Relies on instructions and pre-established guidelines to perform the functions of the job. Works under immediate supervision. Typically reports to a registered nurse or supervisor.

Qualifications
Minimum requirements
- Education: High School Diploma/GED or a valid CNA or PCA/PCT Certificate
- EKG training in selected units
- Certifications/Licensure: CPR
Preferred requirements
- Experience: One year of experience as a nursing assistant in an acute care setting
- Certifications/Licensure: CNA/LNA from the Arizona State Board of Nursing
Skills
- Excellent customer service skills
- Basic computer skills
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills to interact positively and effectively with patients, visitors and health care team members
- Knowledge of patient rights, aseptic/sterile technique and infection control best practices

Pay: Up to $2,500 Bonus Based on Eligibility
