Patient Care Tech (PCT) - Float Pool

About the role

Be the heart of compassionate care in a patient care support role with us! In this vital role, you'll provide essential assistance and comfort to patients, ensuring they receive the best possible experience during their healthcare journey.

Responsibilities

• Assists nursing service personnel with a variety of patient care activities and related services necessary in caring for the personal needs and comfort of patients.
• Assists with personal hygiene, takes vital signs, and changes bed linens.
• May serve and collect food trays, provide for between-meal nourishment, and clean, sterilize, store, and prepare other supplies.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.

Relies on instructions and pre-established guidelines to perform the functions of the job. Works under immediate supervision. Typically reports to a registered nurse or supervisor.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• CPR certification.
• CNA license, Home Health certification, Nursing Assistant certification, EMT certification, or current Nursing Student (must have completed 1st round of clinicals).

Pay

$15.00 - $29.55 per hour. Individual wages are determined based upon a number of factors including, but not limited to, an individual’s qualifications and experience.
