Patient Care Tech - Ortho - PRN - Days

Compensation

• $14.29-$23.34/hr. depending on previous work experience
• Plus $1.75/hr. prn differential
• Evening differential $1.50/hr.
• Night differential $1.75/hr.
• Weekend differential $1.75/hr.

About the role

Ortho is a 32 bed orthopedic floor. We also take med/surg overflow and cardiac overflow. We are a center of excellence with certifications in Hip Replacement, Knee Replacements and Hip Fractures.

Qualifications

• Education: High School diploma or equivalent GED
• Certification: As a nursing assistant or 6 months of recent experience as a nursing assistant
• Experience: Six (6) months of recent experience as a nursing assistant
• Licensure/Certification: Current certification as a Certified Nursing Assistant or one clinical semester of nursing school or successful completion of an acute care nurse aide course; or six (6) months previous experience in a healthcare position can be substituted for the experience
• Basic Life Support (BLS) training or re-training is required during orientation prior to providing patient care
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) is required to be maintained through re-training for duration of employment
• Certified Nursing Assistant preferred
