Patient Care Tech - Neonatal ICU

About the role

The Patient Care Technician provides a variety of indirect and direct care, including provision for patient's dependency needs such as nutrition, hygiene, safety, and physical and psychological comfort measures, to patients and significant others, under the supervision of licensed nursing staff. Responsible for performing job duties in accordance with mission, vision, and values.

Responsibilities

• Provide indirect and direct patient care, addressing dependency needs such as nutrition, hygiene, safety, and physical and psychological comfort.

Requirements

• High school diploma or G.E.D.
• Florida CNA certification.
• Hospital PCT/CNA experience preferred.
• For nursing students: currently enrolled in a Nursing program (ASN or BSN) and have completed Fundamentals of Nursing (must submit unofficial transcript with application).

Schedule

• Part-time, on-site.
• Scheduled days: Sunday, Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday.
• Shift: Night (7 PM – 7 AM).

Pay

Minimum starting salary: $15.45 per hour.

Primary location: Tampa General Hospital Main Campus, Tampa, FL.
