About the role
Join our expanding Pulmonary Unit, where clinical staff collaborate closely with hospitalists, pulmonologists, and respiratory therapists to deliver top-notch care for patients with acute and chronic respiratory issues.
Responsibilities
- Provide care to patients from birth through the lifecycle under the supervision of licensed clinical staff.
- Demonstrate competency with treatments, procedures, and equipment appropriate to the clinical setting and hospital policy.
- Patient ratios are determined by volume and acuity of patient needs; extenuating circumstances may require adjustments.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED).
- No experience required; 1 year of patient care experience preferred.
- BCLS – Basic Life Support certification required upon hire.
- CNA – Certified Nursing Assistant certification preferred.
- Certification from a Patient Care Technician program preferred.
