Overview Patient Care Tech FT Days 7am-7pm Schedule is 3 x 12 hour shifts per week, some weekend shifts Med Surg 1 Unit Description - Piedmont Eastside- Snellville, GA Serving General Adult Patient Population 23 bed, Acute Care with wide ranges of illnesses and injuries with various complexities Collaborate with Physicians, Pharmacists, Physical/Occupational/Speech and Respiratory Therapy If you thrive in a fast-paced environment and are a Team Player, we offer enthusiasm for ongoing Professional Development Supported by Charge Nurse, PCT's, Unit Secretary (Day), Unit Based Educator and Clinical Manager Responsibilities The Patient Care Tech, under the supervision of licensed clinical staff, provides care to patients from birth through the lifecycle, demonstrating competency with treatments, procedures and equipment appropriate to the clinical setting and hospital policy. Qualifications Education H.S. Diploma or General Education Degree (GED) Preferred Work Experience No experience required 1 year of patient care experience Preferred Licenses and Certifications BCLS - Basic Life Support Upon Hire Required CNA - Certified Nursing Assistant Preferred Certification from a Patient Care Technician program Preferred Business Unit : Company Name: Eastside Medical Center
