Patient Care Tech - Medical Telemetry Surgical

About the role

As a Patient Care Tech at MercyOne, you will participate in the provision of safe, quality patient care as delegated by the Registered Nurse through support of standards and philosophies of Genesis Medical Center. You will provide assistance to nursing staff and physicians in various patient care and non-patient care activities, performing tasks in a caring and efficient manner. This role also supports customer service and assists with department-related housekeeping, supply, equipment, and facility maintenance tasks.

Schedule

• Full time, 0.8 FTE (32 hours per week)
• 1st Shift (7:00 AM – 3:30 PM)

Requirements

• High School diploma/GED or equivalent experience
• No prior experience required
• Basic Life Support (BLS) training

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous experience in healthcare
• Current healthcare student
• Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification
• Knowledge of medical terminology

Pay

Pay Range: $16.06 - $23.29 per hour. Actual compensation will fall within the range but may vary based on factors such as experience, qualifications, education, location, licensure, certification requirements, and comparisons to colleagues in similar roles.
