Patient Care Tech - Med Surg, Nights

Responsibilities

• Under the supervision of licensed clinical staff, provides care to patients from birth through the lifecycle
• Demonstrates competency with treatments, procedures and equipment appropriate to the clinical setting and hospital policy

Qualifications

• Education: H.S. Diploma or General Education Degree (GED) preferred
• Work Experience: No experience required; 1 year of patient care experience preferred
• Licenses and Certifications:
  • BCLS - Basic Life Support upon hire required
  • CNA - Certified Nursing Assistant preferred
  • Certification from a Patient Care Technician program preferred
