Responsibilities

• Perform supervised clinical and non-clinical care, including patient entry, exit, and assistance with activities of daily living.
• Monitor and report changes in patient physical, mental, or emotional condition to nursing staff.
• Document necessary patient records accurately.
• Maintain clean, orderly patient rooms and ensure medical equipment is functional.

Requirements

• BLS Provider certification obtained within 1 month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date (American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted).
• Nurse Aide credential from the Wisconsin Nurse Aide Registry obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date.
• Certified Nursing Assistant credential from the state of Wisconsin, with eligibility to work in a hospital setting, obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date. Additional certifications may be required by specific job locations.
• High School diploma or equivalency, OR 1 year of applicable cumulative job-specific experience. Required professional licensure/certification can be used in lieu of education or experience, if applicable.
