Patient Care Tech II
About the role
Cottage Health is seeking a Computed Tomography Technologist II (CT) for their Nursing department. The position requires operating all CT scanners independently, performing all scanning protocols without assistance, operating other related equipment, assisting physicians with diagnostic and/or therapeutic procedures, coordinating patient flow, and producing quality images both efficiently and safely.
Responsibilities
- Operate all CT scanners independently
- Perform all scanning protocols without assistance

- Assist physicians with diagnostic and/or therapeutic procedures
- Cook up patient flow
- Produce quality images both efficiently and safely
- Coordinate patient flow
- Can float to other CT scanners as workflow dictates
Qualifications
- Education: Graduate from an accredited radiologic technologist program
- Certifications, Licenses, Registrations: Valid California Radiologic Technologist license, American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support (BLS), ARRT registered in Computed Tomography, Venipuncture certification
- Technical Requirements: Basic skills in MS Word, Excel, and Outlook, Competent in all CT exams and protocols, Able to perform all exams independently, Willing and able to help new CT techs, 6 months experience performing CT exams, Preferred: 6 months experience performing CT exams at a 500+ bed, Level 1 trauma hospital

Pay and Benefits
Pay for non-physician positions is determined based on related years of experience and internal equity. Eligible employees may also receive additional forms of compensation, including shift differentials, on-call pay, incentive pay, and bonus opportunities, where applicable. Manager and above positions may participate in Cottage Health’s annual management incentive program.
