Patient Care Tech - Full Time

About the role

Support patient care in a high-risk cardiology unit by assisting licensed nurses and ensuring a safe, healing environment.

Responsibilities

• Implement direct patient care under nurse supervision, including ADLs, vital signs, and preventative measures.
• Collect patient clinical data, monitor changes, and report to the nursing team.
• Assist with patient and family education, document care activities accurately.
• Act as a 1:1 safety sitter as needed and ensure availability of supplies and equipment.
• Participate in activities promoting patient safety, quality, and regulatory compliance.
• Contribute to professional development and team collaboration.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Preferred: CNA, PCT, Nurse Assistant, EMT, or Surgical Tech experience.
• Strong communication, attention to detail, and ability to work collaboratively.
