PATIENT CARE TECH/ CNA , Med/Surg Unit, Full-Time Days

About the Role

Provides safe, competent nursing care for patients in accordance with facility policies, standards, and philosophy. Provides professional leadership and support to the healthcare team. Responsibilities

• Completes bedside shift report in the room at the beginning and end of each shift.
• Ensures patient is provided with names and contact numbers for members of the care team on the communication board every shift.
• Meets with supervising RN at the beginning of each shift to receive delegation of tasks.
• Involves the patient and family psychosocial, spiritual, emotional, population-specific, and diversity needs in care.

Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited C.N.A program.
• Current Nevada C.N.A. license.
• Current BLS certificate.
• Prefer one year full-time or three years part-time experience in an acute care setting.
• Must successfully pass any pre-employment assessment(s) required by the facility.
