Patient Care Tech - CIU
About the role
As a patient care tech at MercyOne, you will participate in the provision of safe, quality patient care as delegated by the Registered Nurse through support of the standards and philosophies of Genesis Medical Center. You will provide assistance to nursing staff and physicians in various patient care and non‑patient care activities, performing tasks in a caring and efficient manner that supports customer service and helps with department‑related housekeeping, supply, equipment, and facility maintenance.

Requirements
- No prior experience required
- Basic Life Support Training (required)
- High School diploma/GED or equivalent experience
Qualifications
Preferred qualifications include previous healthcare experience, enrollment in a healthcare program, CNA certification, and familiarity with medical terminology.

Schedule
Part‑time .6 FTE (approximately 24 hours per week), Night Shift 11:00 pm – 7:30 am, every other weekend and every other holiday.
