PATIENT CARE TECH - CARDIOLOGY & VASCULAR CLINIC

JOB REQUIREMENTS

• Education: Must possess a High School diploma or equivalent GED.
• Experience: Prior health care and/or physician office experience is desired. Experience working with the public is helpful.
• Physical: This is a safety sensitive position. Normal physician office environment. Close eye work. Hearing of normal and/or soft tones. Occasional exposure to hazards. Continuous walking and standing. Frequent bending, stooping, pulling and pushing. Lifting and carrying up to 30 lbs. Pushing and or pulling up to 300 lbs.

JOB SUMMARY

Aid the designated nurse and or physician in completing non-mission critical clinical duties related to patient movement and testing area operations. Routinely greet and escort patients. Operate clinic-specific software, equipment and assist with vital signs, following established clinic protocols. Maintain a neat appearance and positive disposition, and collaborate effectively with diverse individuals. Demonstrate conscientiousness, dependability, and alignment with clinic and medical center goals and missions.
