Core Job Functions

• Assists in procedures/exams as directed.
• Obtains necessary supplies, equipment, and/or personnel as needed.
• Communicates data by timely documentation and reporting of abnormal or patient status changes to RN/LPN.
• Patient care interventions are provided under the direction of the RN/LPN.
• Accurately obtains and documents patient assessments according to hospital/departments guidelines.
• Complies with regulatory guidelines for work area and professional practice.
• Communicates patient safety risks to appropriate providers.
• Performs interventions under the direction of the RN/LPN.
