Job Summary and Qualifications
Provides direct patient care under the supervision of a registered nurse, assisting with daily living activities, monitoring vital signs, and maintaining a safe patient environment. PCTs also participate in patient education and support, ensuring a positive and comfortable experience for patients and their families.

Requirements and Qualifications
- High School Diploma/GED preferred
- Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification preferred
- Acute Care hospital experience preferred
- Strong Communication and Interpersonal Skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment

HCA Florida Lawnwood Hospital is a 380-bed acute-care hospital offering a full range of services, including the most experienced Heart Institute on the Treasure Coast, interventional and therapeutic care, open-heart surgery, labor/delivery, pediatrics, orthopedics, oncology, nuclear medicine, adult and pediatric emergency services, diagnostic services, inpatient and outpatient surgical services, and Level II Trauma Center. We are also home to the area’s only Level III Neonatal and Pediatric Intensive Care Units and a freestanding ER in Vero Beach.
