Patient Care Partner – PCU – FT Nights

Location: Bronxville, New York – right across from the Metro North Station.

Be the eyes and ears of an award-winning nursing department. Collaborate with nurses and nursing attendants to raise the bar and Put Patients First. Take initiative and balance patient care with clinical practices, providing quality phlebotomy, EKG, and vital signs monitoring.

This is a full-time night shift position covering the hours of 11:00 PM – 7:15 AM with rotating weekends and holidays at NewYork-Presbyterian Westchester Hospital.

Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, high-quality care at the bedside for patients and families.
• Perform phlebotomy, EKGs, and vital signs monitoring with expertise.
• Collaborate with nurses and nursing attendants to ensure exceptional patient care.
• Serve as a key member of the nursing team, supporting clinical and patient-care initiatives.

Requirements

• High School Diploma.
• Successful completion of an approved Patient Care Tech Program or a Phlebotomy Certification and EKG Certification or demonstrated experience in performing electrocardiograms.
• One year of experience as a Nursing Assistant.
• BLS Certification.

Preferred Qualifications

• Minimum of one year of experience in psychiatry or a related field.

Pay

Salary Range: $30.27/hour.

Schedule

• Full-time night shift: 11:00 PM – 7:15 AM.
• Rotating weekends and holidays.
