Patient Care Partner – ICU – FT Evenings

As the eyes and ears of an award-winning nursing department, they collaborate with nurses and nursing attendants to raise the bar and Put Patients First.

This is a full-time evenings shift position covering the hours of 3:00 PM - 11:15 PM with rotating weekends and holidays at NewYork-Presbyterian Westchester Hospital in Bronxville, right across from the Metro North Station.

Responsibilities

• Provide comfort, calm, and compassion to patients and families.
• Perform phlebotomy, EKGs, and vital signs monitoring.
• Collaborate with nurses and nursing attendants to deliver high-quality patient care.
• Act as the eyes and ears of the nursing department.
• Balance patient care with clinical practices.

Requirements

• High School Diploma.
• Successful completion of an approved Patient Care Tech Program or a Phlebotomy Certification and EKG Certification, or demonstrated experience in performing electrocardiograms.
• One year of experience as a Nursing Assistant.
• BLS Certification.

Preferred Qualifications

• Minimum of one year of experience in psychiatry or a related field.

Pay

Salary Range: $30.27/hour.

Schedule

Full-time evenings shift: 3:00 PM - 11:15 PM with rotating weekends and holidays.

Please note that this role requires on-site presence, so all employees should live within a commutable distance to NYP. NYP will not reimburse for travel expenses.
