Patient Care Partner – 4 North – Part Time Nights

About the role

Patient Care Partners at NewYork-Presbyterian Westchester Hospital are integral members of the nursing team. They provide compassionate care to patients and families, demonstrating expertise in tasks such as phlebotomy, EKGs, and vital signs monitoring.

Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate and expert care during procedures like blood draws and EKGs.
• Collaborate with nurses and nursing assistants to enhance patient care standards.
• Balance patient care with clinical practices to ensure quality outcomes.
• Perform phlebotomy, EKG, vitalsignsmonitoring, and blood glucose testing.

Requirements

• Minimum of one year experience in psychiatry or related field (preferred)
• High School Diploma
• Successful completion of approved Patient Care Tech Program or a Phlebotomy Certification and EKG Certification
• One year experience as a Nursing Assistant
• BLS Certification

Pay

The starting hourly rate is $30.27.

Schedule

Part time night shift covering the hours of 11:00pm - 7:15am with rotating weekends and holidays.
