Progress West Hospital, opened in 2007, is BJC HealthCare’s newest hospital in St. Charles County, featuring modern private rooms. It offers 24-hour emergency services, pediatric emergency care in partnership with St. Louis Children’s Hospital, surgical and endoscopy services, a cardiac catheterization lab, medical/surgical inpatient services, diagnostic imaging, lab services, and the Advanced Wound Center. The hospital is a Certified Level II Stroke Center and recently expanded its Childbirth Center to include enhanced services for at-risk mothers and babies, with a newborn ICU for babies born as early as 32 weeks. The medical office building houses specialists in primary care, cardiology, obstetrics, pediatrics, and orthopedics.

About the Role

This individual will support 250 patient care services employees by assisting with troubleshooting devices, submitting tickets, timekeeping, and onboarding. The role serves as the primary contact and liaison between patient care areas, ancillary, and support departments within the hospital, coordinating business, administrative, and non-patient care operational activities.

Schedule: Monday–Friday (day shift).

Responsibilities

• Plans, develops, recommends, and coordinates processes and strategies to identify revenue opportunities.
• Collaborates with directors, managers, and other disciplines to plan and implement projects related to patient care areas.
• Creates effective work plans and provides input to identify correct resources, processes, and space needed for assigned patient care areas.
• Facilitates acquisition of supplies, equipment, and services.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED (required).
• 2–5 years of experience (required).
• No supervisor experience required.
• Associate’s Degree in Business or related field (preferred).
