Duties
- Performs various patient care activities and related services under the direction of licensed staff.
- Includes Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), vital signs monitoring, electrocardiograms (EKGs), drug screenings, patient searches, glucose checks, and other direct patient care duties as assigned.
Experience/Requirements
- High School diploma or GED required.
- Certification as a PCT, MA, or CNA preferred.
- Basic computer skills required.
- Strong interpersonal and communications skills.
- At least one year of experience providing direct customer service to customers or patients strongly desired.
Physical And Environmental Demands
- The ability to walk six to eight miles in an eight-hour shift.
- The ability to lift or carry objects weighing up to 50 pounds.
- The ability to work under periods of high stress and in a consistently fast-paced environment.
