Patient Care Coordinator - Neurology
About the Role
Patient Care Coordinators are responsible and accountable for the coordination of information and support needed for the flow of patients at our clinics. As a patient-facing caregiver, you’ll provide customer service, helping patients through processes like check-in, registration, billing/financial aid, and insurance. Patient Care Coordinators work in conjunction with our clinical teams to assist with scheduling, clinic operations, and more.
At our Neurology Clinics, we specialize in evaluating, diagnosing, and treating all neurological conditions, whether common or rare. Join our team to collaborate with highly skilled subspecialists and provide care for patients with a wide range of neurological concerns. The Patient Care Coordinator provides various receptionist and skilled clerical duties to support the department. This position may be responsible for scheduling patients, obtaining necessary documentation, supporting prior authorizations, and coordinating aspects of patient care to ensure continuity of care.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate information and support for patient flow in clinics
- Provide customer service for check-in, registration, billing/financial aid, and insurance processes
- Assist with scheduling and clinic operations in collaboration with clinical teams
- Perform receptionist and clerical duties to support the department
- Schedule patients and obtain necessary documentation
- Support prior authorizations and coordinate aspects of patient care for continuity
- Perform all duties in a manner that promotes teamwork and reflects the mission and values of the organization
Requirements
- 1 year of medical office or related healthcare experience OR 6 months of experience as a Providence employee in an Associate PCC position

Pay
The pay range for this position is $25.73 - $39.36 per hour. These amounts are the base pay range; additional compensation may be available for this role, such as shift differentials, standby/on-call, overtime, premiums, extra shift incentives, or bonus opportunities.
Schedule
Full time, Day shift.
